2021 Lincoln Charity Clambake Preview

The 2021 Lincoln Charity Clambake is proudly presented by Lincoln and supported by Lawley Insurance, Titleist, and FootJoy.

The 2021 Lincoln Charity Clambake is set to begin on Monday, May 17 at The Ridgewood Country Club where over 100 amateurs and 100 New Jersey PGA Professionals will compete for the coveted Lincoln Charity Clambake Trophy.

10 returning champions will compete in this year's Lincoln Charity Clambake: Tyler Hall (2020), Danny Lewis (2019), Nick Bova (2018), Grant Sturgeon (2017), Bill Hook (2016), Brent Studer (2003, 2014), Mark McCormick (2010, 2001), Brian Gaffney (2009, 2002), Frank Esposito (2007, 2006, 2005), & Michael Burke (2004, 1998, 1997). 

The New Jersey PGA is proud and excited to host the 2021 Lincoln Charity Clambake at The Ridgewood Country Club this year. "As the New Jersey PGA Section, we are excited to welcome our PGA Professionals to The Ridgewood Country Club for a tremendous golf tournament and first-class experience. We would like to extend our gratitude to Ridgewood’s Board, Head Golf Professional, David Reasoner, and The Ridgewood Country Club Membership for their willingness to host the 2021 Lincoln Charity Clambake. We look forward to spending a few days at Ridgewood and look forward to continuing our relationship with the club and its representatives" said Executive Director, Chris Bauer. 

The Ridgewood Country Club's Head Golf Professional, David Reasoner added, "Ridgewood is excited to host the 2021 Lincoln Charity Clambake. The golf course and clubhouse renovations are now complete and we are honored to be hosting this event. The golf course will be a great test for our New Jersey PGA Section Professionals. We are looking forward to a great week of golf".

Studer won this event in 2003 & 2014. McCormick has won this event in 2001 & 2010

Tyler Hall & Tony Perla

Hall enters this week as the defending Champion (2020). Perla finished in solo 2nd in last year's NJSGA State Open and 14th in the 2020 NJPGA Player of the Year Race

Bill Hook & Jeff Maines

Hook has won this event in 2016. Maines finished T30 in the 2020 NJPGA Player of the Year Race.

Nick Bova & Marc Issler

Bova has won this event in 2018. Issler finished 15th in the 2020 NJPGA Player of the Year Race and reached the Quarterfinals in last year's Match Play Championship against Nick Bova.

Pat Fillian & Brent Paladino

Pat Fillian finished 3rd in the 2020 NJPGA Player of the Year Race. Brent Paladino reached the Finals in last week's Match Play Championship against Danny Lewis.
