It was nothing but an impressive performance from the recent NJPGA Hall of Fame Inductee, Jim McGovern at the challenging Alpine Country Club. After a number of weather delays, the Head Golf Professional at neighboring White Beeches Golf & Country Club, fired a flawless -6 (66) including 7 birdies. This is McGovern's second Fall Finale Title in his elustrious golf career.

"I played really nicely today, I really did. I told myself last night before going to bed that I was going to treat every shot as the most important one and I did that today except for one bad shot on the Par 4 15th hole. Luckily I recovered when I holed out my bunker shot. I'm really excited to win this event, it's a great way to finish the season. I was kinda disappointed a couple weeks ago after finishing the Section Championship behind Tyler [Hall]. He played extremely well and I felt like I did too but I lost to him by 10 or 15 shots. But to come back this week and win this event is great. It was a great couple of days, we played an awesome course, and I'm really happy, that's all I can say!"

Congratulations to the 2021 Fall Finale Champion, Jim McGovern!
