The 94th New Jersey PGA Professional Championship was nothing short of exciting. After Round 1, Mike Sargenti, Grant Sturgeon, and Tyler Hall were tied for the lead after firing an opening round three-under (69) with 23 of their fellow PGA Professionals within 4 shots of the lead.

With the wind picking up and the golf course drying out, the top half of the leaderboard started began to separate from the rest of the field. Tyler Hall took the lead by the end of Round 2 after carding a four-under (68). The closest competitors, Nick Bova & Andy Brock, sat 5 shots back from Hall's lead at 2-under.

With a 5 shot lead heading into the Final Round of the Championship, Hall looked to card three days under par to claim his first ever NJPGA Professional Championship. "I played really nicely in the Final Round. I got off to a quick start with two birdies on 1 and 2 and then a hole-out eagle on 9. I knew going into the back nine, I just had to play even par golf and I did that for the most part". Standing on the tenth tee, Hall knew he was the only person that was keeping him from claiming his first ever John J. Clancy Trophy. "I said to myself, let's just keep doing what we've been doing all week and we'll be good. My irons were the difference this week for me. I didn't hit it great off the tee but my irons and putting saved me this week. With an 8 shot leading heading to the 18th tee, Hall nearly had the title locked in. "As I looked up at that 18th green from the tee, I had to calm myself and stay in the moment and I did just that".

Tyler Hall is the 94th New Jersey PGA Professional Champion! Congratulations Tyler!
