The New Jersey Section, PGA of America recently named Dave Miller their new Director; Tournaments & Championships.  Miller, who joined the New Jersey PGA staff in late 2019, had served as the Manager; Marketing and Digital Media for the past 2 years. Over that period, he has increased the social media footprint of not only the New Jersey PGA but also countless PGA Professionals  for their accomplishments both on and off the golf course.

“This has been a dream of mine ever since I started working for the New Jersey PGA”, said Miller soon after being named Director of Tournaments & Championships. “The New Jersey PGA has been a place that I’ve been privileged to call home for the past 2+ years. Many of our New Jersey PGA Professionals have become some of my closest friends and I look forward to continuing my service to them in this new role. Thank you to all those who have helped me get to this point in my career”.

The New Jersey PGA has a rich history and our tournament program remains a top priority for our PGA Professionals. Dave will serve as the staff lead for all tournament types including Assistant Professional Division events, Weekly Pro Am events and our Major Championships. 

“Dave's passion, work ethic, familiarity with our technology and most importantly the strong relationships he has built with many of our PGA Professionals separated him from the other candidates who pursued this position,” said Chris Bauer, Executive Director. “Dave has been and will continue to be an integral part of the team and we look forward to seeing him blossom in his new role.”
