Recent Assistant Golf Professional at Canoe Brook Country Club, Matt Hardy has been named Mendham Golf & Tennis Club’s newest Head Golf Professional.
Hardy, having served as Canoe Brook’s Assistant Golf Professional since 2015, started his career at Mendham as an Assistant Golf Professional from 2009-2014 under the tutelage of New Jersey PGA Past President, Joseph Kelly. In 2021, Matt was named the Assistant Golf Professional of the Year, an award given to an Assistant Golf Professional who shows outstanding service to the New Jersey PGA and their facility. Hardy is a proud member of the PGA of America, New Jersey Section since the beginning of his career in 2011.
Additionally, Matt has excelled on the golf course, having finished in the Top 6 in the Rolex Assistant Player of the Year Race, five times since 2014. Most recently, Hardy finished solo 2nd at the 2020 Lincoln Charity Clambake at Hollywood Golf Club. His most notable win came at the 2019 National Car Rental Assistant Championship which was held at his home club, Canoe Brook Country Club.

It’s time to begin the next chapter of my career and I can’t wait to get started!"
